ClubTitanPrivacyTerms
Pre-launch draft. This document describes the platform as built and is pending review by a UK solicitor. Anything marked [to be confirmed before launch] will be completed before ClubTitan launches to clubs.

Fees schedule

This page is every fee on ClubTitan, in plain numbers. It forms part of the club terms. The core platform is free; ClubTitan is funded by a small fee on payments and by optional extras a club can turn on and off. Prices are [subject to change with at least 30 days' notice to clubs].

The platform fee: a standard rate of 0.72%

Our standard fee is 0.72% of each payment made through the platform — collected automatically as part of the transaction, calculated on the net amount after any discounts or credits. There is no subscription and no other charge for the core platform.

Refunds: we never profit from one

The payment providers' own fees

Payments run through the club's own account with the provider, so the provider's published UK pricing applies and is charged by them, not by us. As a guide [approximate — the provider's current published pricing applies; to be confirmed before launch]:

MethodProviderTypical fee
Card (incl. Apple/Google Pay)Stripe~1.5% + 20p (standard UK consumer cards)
Bacs Direct DebitStripe~1% + 20p, capped at £4
Direct DebitGoCardless~1% + 20p, capped at £4
Pay by bank (Instant Bank Pay)GoCardless~1% + 20p

Clubs that connect their own Stripe account keep whatever rate they've agreed with Stripe — including charity rates where Stripe grants them.

Switching clubs: the transition price promise

A club migrating from another provider won't pay more than it does now during the transition: our recurring fees are waived until the old provider's equivalent charges stop, and only payments actually flowing through ClubTitan carry the platform fee. To make the promise measurable, the club shares its old provider's charges (transaction rate and any monthly fee) when it migrates — that's how we track the real savings the switch is making.

Where a club chooses the optional white-glove migration (we do the work), the fee is £299 for a club with fewer than 300 members and £449 for a club with 300 members or more. It is not invoiced up front: it is collected from those savings as money flows, by adding 0.50% to the platform fee — so a club repaying its migration fee pays 1.22% of each payment rather than the standard 0.72%. The addition stops automatically the moment the fee is covered, and in any case after 12 months, when any remainder is invoiced. Self-serve migration is free.

VAT and changes

VAT treatment of our fees: [to be confirmed before launch]. Where prices change, existing clubs get at least 30 days' notice before a change applies to them, and anything a club has already paid for is honoured. This draft was last updated in July 2026.
